Youth 4 Youth, an international exchange project of Bosco Base vzw and its volunteers, is offering a unique volunteering opportunity for 16 international animators.

This project consists of 2 weeks, from Monday till Friday, of volunteering on a Flemish Don Bosco summer camp. The animators will be split up into smaller groups and will be active on the different Don Bosco oratories (playgrounds/summer camps). On these playgrounds, they will create activities for children aged 4 to 16, together with Belgian animators. The goal of this project is to create a positive and enjoyable environment and lasting memories for the children coming to the playground, through creative and engaging activities. The volunteers will actively participate in planning, leading and evaluating different activities while working closely with the children and Belgian animators. This volunteering experience extends beyond the daily activities, with opportunities for personal development in youth leadership, social skills, youth work techniques, language competence...

During the weekends, all international volunteers will engage in a joint program facilitated by Bosco Base. The group of volunteer will come together that weekend, where we will create an awesome atmosphere between all the participants and hosting team. This program includes training sessions, sharing experiences, intercultural activities and cultural sightseeing across different locations in Belgium. The cities where we will stay during these weekends will be: Halle, Leuven and Gent to end with.

Where will it be?
The oratories where the small groups of volunteers will stay are located in: Don Bosco Raccoon (Brussels), Don Bosco Oud-Heverlee, Don Bosco Halle and Don Bosco Ganshoren.
